Finished Billboard

This is Sophie and I's first supporting piece. We spent a while trying to find a suitable photo so that it was clear what the advertisment was about. We had to do some editing on the camera lense as in the original it was not clear enough and did not look effective enough. So we lifted the lense of a camera off another photo and edited it onto this one. I think it looks effective and we tried to keep it simple as from my research into other billboards the main thing they all had in common was that they where all simple making it very effective.

Initial Billboard ideas

I drew up a very quick draft of a possible billboard to use for our supposrting peice. I wanted something that was eye catching yet simple. This is not the best as it is not in colour but it gave me a good idea of what I needed to do on my final peice to make it as effective as possible.

These are some clippings of a magazing that I took to give me an idea of how a review page should look as this is what I am thinking of doing for my second supporting peice. This gave me a good idea of what to do. This magazine uses a lot of bright colours but so many that it confuses it. There is also a lot different things in a one page such as competitions and then reviews and top ten etc so there is a lot to try think about when it comes to making my double page spread but this has helped a lot.
